Mojo Mousse by Chef Johan was inspired by the legend of the golden spoon derived from a story about when you die and go to heaven, you’ll be eating dessert with a golden spoon every single day for all eternity.
When Chef Johan moved to NYC to work as an Executive Chef to the Belgium Ambassador in the UN, he often served his chocolate mousse - until it became his signature dessert. Secretaries of honorary guests would call in advance to request this dessert.
Chef Johan then opened America’s first-ever mousse bar in East Harlem, NYC, in February 2020 and since then has been featured in the New York Times, Gothamist, TimeOut, and more.
Chef Johan produces his mousses in small batches with premium Belgium chocolate. No artificial ingredients. No corn syrup. No other funky additives. We love his mousses because they are naturally delicious and decadent.
