Best brunch NYC eat in nice spots

Best Brunch NYC

The hardest question we have in the city that never sleeps is where to go eat brunch (for those coming straight from a night out or the ones that got their beauty sleep,) we’re highlighting our favorite and most delicious spots to eat brunch in NYC (assuming you didn’t grab a yogurt parfait from the Fraîche Fridges before you left work of course.)

Chez Ma Tante

Another French restaurant, we know… but they are too good to miss. A very quaint and low-key spot in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, Chez Ma Tante makes the.best.pancakes in NYC. Yup, you heard us. They are crispy and buttery on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside, and oh so decadent. If you don’t have a sweet tooth, they also have great quiche, cured salmon, and another one of our favorites, chicken liver pâté.

Banter

We’ve highlighted them before but that’s just to say, they are pretty good at what they do. And what do they do? Brunch. Banter has been around for a few years now and have already been highlighted by some of our favorite fellow foodies such as the Infatuation and the New York Times. Banter is a local and very cozy cafe, that you can find in two locations (Greenwich & West Village) is the perfect spot for a health-conscious fans but also for those who wouldn’t mind splurging on a Nutella stuffed french toast. Our favorites are a delicious flat white, golden folded eggs, and the buttermilk friend chicken sandwich.

Bicyclette

Here is our tip: go to Bicyclette early. Grab a baguette, pain-au-chocolat, and croissant, go down to Domino Park, and enjoy the most delicious French pasties overlooking the water. Brunch per-se? Perhaps no, but Bicyclette’s pastries have been said to be the “best” in NYC (by Frenchies themselves,) so we’re not kidding when we say they are good.

Lafayette

You’ve probably heard of Lafayette a bit more than usual lately thanks to their insta- (and tik-tok) famous croissant that oozes with either Nutella or some other sort of beautiful creamy magic. However, we’ve been fans of their long before the famous croissant for their relaxing yet chic restaurant. Their burgers and truffle fries are out of this world (and a perfect hangover meal) but their salads and tartare’s are also on our top picks. Come here to be transported to a sweet cafe in Paris.
